Call the Larry King Show TONIGHT (Tuesday, January 12), 9:00 to 10:00 PM Eastern (800) 676-2100
Despite our written protests and his monumental "fizzle" last night on the Geraldo Rivera show, convicted pornographer and Clinton fan LARRY FLYNT will appear tonight on CNN's Larry King show from 9:00 to 10:00 PM.
We expect him to continue his salacious attacks on Republican Members of Congress. After all, Clinton's lieutenants promised a "sexual killing field" if the President was impeached, and Flynt has spent a fortune from his pornography profits on paid informants and ex-CIA operatives to dig up (or manufacture) dirt on Republicans.
There's no room in this great democracy for the politics of blackmail, threats and intimidation as practiced by the President's pornographer pal.
We need you to call the Larry King show during Flynt's appearance to register your disgust with his tactics and ask him the following questions:
- You've admitted paying millions to paid informants and hiring ex-CIA and FBI operatives to dig up this dirt. Why should anybody believe them?
- Isn't it true that you're relying on investigator Dan Muldea - the same one who got interviews with Judge Starr's staff by pretending to be a reporter - when he was working for Clinton's lawyers all along?
- Aren't you relying on investigator Dan Muldea, the man who played the tapes of his interviews with Starr for the Clinton legal team?
- You've said that you personally haven't had any contact with the White House, but can't rule out that your ex-CIA operatives have been in contact with the White House, can you? In fact, it's entirely possible that the materials your investigators are handing you is coming from the White House, or from Bill Clinton's investigator, Terry Lenzner, or from the 40,000 pages of dirt that James Carville has admitted digging up, or from the opposition research unit that's been set up in the White House - all without your knowledge?
How did you find these "ex-CIA and ex-FBI operatives" anyway? Who referred them to you?
- You said initially you had 48 politicians, then 12, then 8, and now 5. What happened to the ones you excluded? Were they all Democrats who voted against Impeachment, who said they found Clinton's conduct "reprehensible?" Doesn't the public deserve to know about their hypocrisy, too?
- When are you going to begin looking the private lives of the members of the news media?
Even if you do not get on the air, be sure to register your protest of Larry Flynt's appearance when you speak to the producer - and consider letters-to-the-editor and radio call-ins to protest the media's willingness to give a forum to this blackmailing pornographer.
At the same time, call C-SPAN to compliment them for wisely deciding NOT to air Larry Flynt's news conference last night. C-SPAN's number is (202) 737-3220.
Thank you!
